LJ and Travis’s love story is the kind of rom-com magic you’d binge on Netflix—think road trips, a cat named Poohka, and a Hinge match that led to happily ever after. LJ grew up in small-town Illinois but had big city dreams (and serious packing skills). From the University of Kentucky to Chicago’s top radio stations, then Nashville’s country music scene, she hustled her way through it all—until burnout in NYC had her swapping skyscrapers for Florida sunshine, Poohka in tow. Meanwhile, Travis was the quiet, athletic guy from small-town Indiana with killer dry humor and a track record of cross-country moves: Charleston, Columbia, San Antonio, Dallas—you name it. He eventually landed in Florida, just in time to swipe right on Hinge while visiting Anna Maria Island. (Timing really is everything, folks.)
When LJ and Travis matched, sparks flew faster than LJ could say “road trip.” For their first date, LJ drove four hours across the state (romance level: expert), and by the third, she was meeting Travis’s family in South Carolina. Things escalated quickly—in the best way possible. Their love story turned full travel blogger vibes, with moves to New Smyrna Beach, West Palm Beach, Charlotte, and finally back to Nashville. Along the way, they built a life filled with beach adventures, dog cuddles, and their greatest adventure yet: raising their adorable son, Jackson.
And then came the plot twist—Italy. For their first birthdays together, LJ surprised Travis with a trip to Italy, and they fell hard… for the country, the wine, and the dream of saying “I do” surrounded by rolling hills and endless pasta. Fast forward to a private proposal in New Smyrna Beach, and the planning for their dream Tuscan wedding began. Now, LJ and Travis are ready to (kind of) settle down with Jackson by their side, proving that sometimes, the best love stories start with a swipe, a cat, and just the right amount of vino.
LJ and Travis’s journey is proof that love thrives in the little moments, too—like lazy Sunday mornings with Jackson, spontaneous coffee runs, and nights spent perfecting their homemade pasta recipes (because Italy left its mark in more ways than one). As they prepare to celebrate their dream wedding in Tuscany, they’re also embracing the beauty of building a life full of adventure, laughter, and love, knowing that the best is yet to come.
